Himon kotikunta Pirkkala täyttää tänä syksynä 100 vuotta. Merkkipaalun kunniaksi teimme Pirkkalan kunnan kanssa yhteistyössä juhlaoluen, jonka julkaisu tapahtuu Pirkkalan virallisilla syntymäpäiväjuhlilla.

Pirkkala 100 on jumalhumala Saazilla kruunattu vaalea lager, joka kestää suurempaakin kulutusta. Kuten juhliessa ku(u)luu.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear amber, small head. Fruity nose with dough, grass and melon. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity, husky and bready with apricot and grass. Long bitter finish.

Smell of malt, bread. Golden colour, high white head. Aroma of grass, grain, some vegetables. Lightly sweet. Lively carbon.

Can (from Himo Beershop). Deep golden colour, small foamy head. Aroma is floral, some grainy and earthy tones. Flavour is floral, some grainy, earthy and grassy tones with a somewhat dry palate.

Golden colour, steady white head. Slightly grainy-vegetably aroma. Light-bodied. Light grain and sweetish malts in the flavour. Earthy hops in the finish. Everyman's lager.

Can 0.44l at home, Espoo. Canned 29.09.2022. Enjoyed straigght from the can. Aromas and flavours: Caramel, grain, hops, malts... nice caramelly body. Pretty hoppy also.
