Not only did we throw a mountain of raspberries into this brew, we backed them up with a generous amount of berry forward Mosaic and Barbe Rouge hops! The result is a refreshingly tart, fruit forward sour ale.

Totally not the same beer as the sour dry-hopped raspberry. Like, not even close, right? Opaque purplish. Not much head. Bright and somewhat jammy raspberry aroma, with a little bit of leafy hops. Big, bright berry, light hops, moderate sourness. Not exactly reinventing the wheel but it is a well-made wheel.

Can. Hazy, dirty rubby red, tiny white head, non lasting. Strong syrupy raspberry nose, sweet and tart. Some citrusy freshness in the back. Puckery soury start, a bit tart later on with some sweetness in teh end. Tart aftertaste. Light body. Fresh. Great.

Hazy red colour with a pinkish frothy-bubbly head, average retention and a ring of foamy bubbles. Raspberry nose with not too much sourness. The sour, slightly puckering mouthfeel is where it shows. Good raspberries in the flavours with a tad of tart. Nicely dry-hopped to balance things. Particles floating at last pour. More on the fruity side, than sour, so fine with me.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Clear red, small, foamy, pink head, some sediment. Aroma of raspberry, redcurrant, unripe strawberry & red apple, wheat, lemon. Taste has sour raspberry, strawberry, some lemon in a sourdough-like, slightly lactic body; tart, frutiy finish, yoghurty, raspberry along a pithy effect of pomegrenate-like hoppiness. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Collective Arts does this style so well: rounded but delicate.

Can from Systembolaget. Unlike many other good quality raspberry sours, this one wasn't bursting with raspberry seed flavours. It was, somewhat oddly, more blackcurrent of the ribena variety. Still it was a good quality dry hop sour, bringing in that dry bitterness from the hops and sour sweetness from the berries. Decent.

0.33 l can from Systembolaget Tuna Park, Eskilstuna. Shared with little Dina. Hazy pink, small off-white head. Intense raspberry candy aroma, sugary. Tart red berries, red currant, grapes. Acidic touch. Light body, moderate to high carbonation, light bitterness, light sourness. Lemon and berries in the flavour. Refreshing fruit juice. Light finish. Nice, not spectacular.

Can: Poured a deep reddish color ale with a large pink color foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of fresh raspberry notes with some tart notes and floral undertones is quiet enticing. Taste is also a good mix of fresh raspberry notes with some treat notes and huge floral undertones that are well balanced against the other flavours. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable fruity sour with nice balance of hops.
