Started as a Belgian Wit Beer, but was transferred to a Slovenian oak wine barrel to work up the funk. Mulberry addition (Croatian for mulberry is Dud, hence the name) gave this beer its intense red-purple color. Sourness is both from the fruit and the mixed fermentation. The tiny green stems of the berries contributed with a distinct peppery note as well.
