Can, 5%. Great roasted, nutty, and bready aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour is very nutty and nicely malty. Very flavourful for the style, and much better than many other brown ales.

44cl can, BB 04/2026.
Ambre/cuivre, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur un bouquet classique de brune américaine avec un agréable apport des malts tend sur le biscuité, crystal, grillé avec un léger houblonnage en rétro-nasal.
Palais est malté pâle/caramel, biscuité, effet un peu Speculoos avec cette pointe épicée qui perce en fin de bouche. Houblonné léger en rétro-nasal ; herbacé et terreux.

The can literally blew up on the shelf in the cellar in mild but not warm temperatures after circa 60 days storage. Top completely sheared off, most of it overflowed. Sampling the 20% left inside. Light brown, no head anymore, but surprisingly still some mild to faint carbonation. Rich, caramel aroma. Taste is mildly bitter. Might have been a decent beer, but not for me.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter fnish. Oily palate.

Tap at Skaal, Copenhagen 19/07/2023 Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen (19/07/2023) - sweet and toasted malty with notes of caramel and fudge, some brown sugar, medium body, sweet and toasted malty close. Decent brown.

Can from Fox & Hounds, sold as their own brew. Pours clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, nuts, and caramel. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with touches of caramel malt, yeast, and nuts. Bitter, roasty and nutty aftertaste with estery touches. Reasonable for the style.

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish. Not really a brown ale.
