Belgian tulip showing dark brown with sparse latte colored foam.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of peanuts and molasses.

The palate is well carbonated and full bodied with a moderate alcohol burn. Moderately sweet with savory notes of peanut and light sugar cane.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany-tinged brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of red grape juice, brandy barrels, oak, some strawberries, and caramel. Flavour is huge on the grape brandy upfront, followed by jelly (i.e., strawberry), caramel, and a touch of peanuts. Very strange, almost having that Concord grape juice character. Not great, but if you're going to do something wonky like this, count on Bottle Logic to figure it out. It's alright.

Dark brown. The aroma has that grape jelly and on the palate, it's grapey, with a touch of chocolate. There's a lot of sweet bw base, as per Bottle Logic, and then more grape jelly. I don't get a whole lot of peanuts on this, actually. Strawberry just sort of floats in and out here. I am not 100% sure about this, for a Bottle Logic.

Bottle (2023 vintage) shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Thick, cola brown with nice viscosity, ring of head. Aroma is strong caramel, grape, peanut butter, strawberry (PB & jam more prominent as it warms). Taste follows aroma. Peanut butter and jam are more prevalent in the finish while base barleywine/barrel more prevalent initially. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste.

500 ml bottle. I have never had Grape Brandy before. This aroma shines with grape with hints of peanut. Wow! Flavor has mild caramel/ toffee malt base with the gape brandy and very mild sherry in the finish. Peanut shows a lot more in the nose than the flavor. Very mild warming after the sip without any alcohol flavor. This is awesome!

Pours dark, unclear brown. No head. Scent is full, strawberry indeed. Some caramel. Taste is full, smooth sweetness. Mild acidity from the strawberry-also providing a lot of aroma.

11/XI/23 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival (Antwerp), Day 2 - part 1, BB: n/a (2023-958) Thanks to Sebletitje, ElManana and others for sharing today’s beers!

Little cloudy dark red brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: a bit medicinal, caramel, sugary, a bit malty, lots of alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sugary start, pretty sweet, lots of caramel, overripe banana, dried fruits, dates, sugary. Aftertaste: lots of dried fruits, figs, dates, lots of alcohol, a bit sourish, ok. Not that good TBH, despite being one of my first beers of the day.
