Hazy Rye Micro IPA is a very light addition to Our New IPA Needs No Introduction series.
The beer was fermented with a yeast strain that gave it juiciness and “fluffiness”; large amount of rye malt in the grist increased the feeling of fullness. The hops used in Hazy Rye Micro IPA are Amarillo and Simcoe – two classics of the beer revolution, which brought a fantastic mixture of citrus, floral, but also resin and pine aromas. We also added Vista hops – a lesser-known variety that enhanced the taste and aroma of citrus and added aroma of tropical stone fruits.

150ml draught at Lipowa, shared with Finn. Decent white head over a hazy golden body, spotty lacing. Modest malt-fruity smell, mid dry. Mixed taste of bread-like malts with citric moments. Short, grain-fruity endnotes. Fair enough. (Kraków, 16.10.2024).

Delt med Rune. Stråfarget. Uklar. Lavt tett skum som forsvinner raskt. Aroma av brøddeig & frukt. Smaken som aromaen. Lett tørr avslutning. Forsvinnende lite bitterhet.

Puszka 0.5l (BB 09.02.2025). Leciutkie choć jak na te parametry pełne w odbiorze, wyraźna goryczką z nutą słodyczy takiej cukierkowej, ogólnie całkiem niezła ipka.

Barwa jasnozłota, zmętnione, piana biała, dość obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie cytrusy, iglaki. W smaku półwytrawne, jest lekka słodycz, akcenty cytrusowe, iglaste, ale niezbyt intensywne. Goryczka niska do średniej, brakuje jej. Wysycenie średnie, ciało lekkie. Brakuje pazura.

Cytrusowe, brzoskwinie, delikatnie zbożowe. Barwa przybrudzonego złota, piana dość trwała redukuje się do niskiej, ładny lacing. Goryczka niska do średniej, grejpfrutowa. Lekkie, rześkie, powiedziałbym że spokojnie ma z 5.5% i jakieś 12 BLG. Zero brzeczki, soczyste, owocowe. Bardzo pijalne, bardzo dobre,można chlać litrami.

Hazy golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of fresh juicy hops, yellow stone fruits, citrus. Taste of juicy hops, stone fruits, apricot, citrus. Watery mouthfeel.

Jasnożółta barwa, zamglone, piana wysoka, szybko opada bez śladu. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty zbożowe oraz delikatnie nuty białych owoców oraz cytrusów. W smaku bardzo podobnie do aromatu, wodniste, brakuje ciała. Niestety Micro IPA to nie mój styl.
