Wild and red Biere de Garde made in collaboration with Brasserie La Malpolon (France). Brewed only with france hops flowers (Strissenpalt in first wort hopping and P10-9 in dry hopping) and then aged 5 months in barrels in Brado cellar.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and a rough, off-white head. Nose has acetic acid, red berries and noble rot - quite complex. Rich body initially, sweet noble rot, overripe apples on a rather tart background of acetic acidity. Balsamico accents. Quite lovely. 121124

ABV: 7.8%. Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oak, sour, wood, berries, barrel, light vinegar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration, sour - tart, oak - wood, barrel, berries, grapes, caramel - sweet malt, light vinegar, vinous. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240118]
