Tap at KEG. Pours deep copper with no head. Nose is woody notes, moderate peaty character, sweet booze. Tase is woody, booze, vanilla, moderate smoke. Medium to heavy body, soft carbo, serious sipper. Expected more smoke, otherwise tasty.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, mild vanilla, some spicy and peaty smoked tones. Flavour is chocolate, some peat smoked malts, wood, mild toffee and some roasted tones. Alcohol does give a slight alcohol edge to it.

Bottle at a tasting. Full bodied, rather low carbonation. Considerable cask character with both wood and peat character. Rich caramelly toffee toasted maltiness providing background and backup. ABV hidden well too. Great.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, barrel wooden notes, whisky and peat notes, light sweet, light to medium bitter. Full body, malty whisky bitter sweet finish. Ok.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, peated smoke, whiskey, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, peated smoke, whiskey, malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Black color with medium beige head. Aroma: light campfire, dried dates, sultanas and vanilla. Taste: sweet and peated, roasted malt, port wine, touch of warming alcohol which is well hidden. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. This is a sipper and I like it.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa An interesting brew, earthy flavors all over the place. Whisky like though not as aggressive. I think I may like it.
