Bottle at home. Slight hazy dark golden with fluffy head. Oak, light funk, caramel, lots of unripe plums and mango, dry leather, juicy dough. Medium sour, a bit less sweet and light bitter. Solid medium bodied. Decent beer but not an amazing geuze.

375mL bottle at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours murky gold with a white head. Musty wood on the nose. Flavour has dirty old wood, some mildew, gentle tartness.

Bottle 37.5 capped and corked @home poured into a tumbler. Brett nose. Hazy pale amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, diminishing mostly, no lacing. Aroma brett, horseblanket, green apple, barnyard. Taste sweet and sour, green apples, unripe goose berries, brett, tart, woody notes, some vinegar. Medium body, gentle sparkling mouthfeel, soft carbonation, dry sweet and sour aftertaste, citrus notes, well-balanced, easy geuze, very good. Perfect instapmodel.

C: shiny gold, hazy.
A: nice sour fruity, woody, funky, brett, green apples, bit sour lactic.
T: very light sour fruity more like funky, woody, apples, brett, old hop bitterness, bit lactic, very interesting with very low acidity, very refreshing, fully enjoyed.

Appearance: Cloudy pale amber with a two finger tall off-white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Barnyard, horse blanket, lemon, overripe apples & pears, autumn leaves, light toast, meaty notes. Intense. Taste: Pretty dry, medium plus sour. Pale & special malt. lemon, autumn leaves, barnyard, light vinegar, old hop. Mouth feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Complex and nice.
