Bottle at home. Dark amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, a distant odd nore of artificial cherry or candy. Flavor has it too, also far in the distance but still, a slight sweetness, okay bitters as well. Ph well, drinkable. Fizzy carbonation though.

330ml bottle in Cafe Leopold, Ostend on 10th November 2025. Clean amber body, almost white coloured crown on top. Malty with a semi sweet caramel feel, light fruit and hop undertones. Nice!

A clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong caramelized malt, mild belgian yeast accents, spices. Taste of strong reddish malt, caramel, belgian yeast, spicy hops, moderate to high carbonation.

Malt & bitter aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth & cloying.
Toffee, caramel, malt & demerara tastes with a tangy
citrussy finish.
Nice one.

10 May 2024. At Pampas, Ghent. Cheers to Carl, Clara & Michiel!
A: hazy amber, stable, foamy, off-white head.
A: raisin, ripe red apple, iron, caramel.
T: sweetish raisin, apple pie, caramel, herbs.
F: herbal hops, red fruits, bit metallic, warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium body, slick-watery texture, soft carbonation.
A newish beer, yet so anachronistic. At least it's nostalgic in a way (sigh).

Bottle. Clear amber with a good cm of white head that fades fairly quickly. Spiced biscuit aroma with some orange peel. So it tastes, with some brown sugar and dried banana. Lacks a bit of grunt in the middle for its strength. Moderately bitter with ginger and other spices at the end. Not all that dissimilar to the retired 6% version.
