Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with a lacing, off-white head. A nose of dark candi syrup, molasses and Belgian yeast. Rich body, more of the same, estery with some warming alcohol. Hardly any bitterness. 140726

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter fiish. Oily palate.

0.33l bottle. Somewhat opaque amber body with a lasting pearl head. Dried fruits come first in the aroma like raisins and dates, then some orange zest, finally some candi sugar arrives. The dried fruits are present in the taste too, prunes, raisins and dates show up here as well such as the candi sugar. There are some spicy hops in the finish too. It shows a bit of booze, but not too much. The carbonation is lively and the mouthfeel is surprisingly dry. Very nice.

Bottle at home. Dark amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, a distant odd nore of artificial cherry or candy. Flavor has it too, also far in the distance but still, a slight sweetness, okay bitters as well. Ph well, drinkable. Fizzy carbonation though.
