Bottle. Black, brown head. Dry roast, metal, rural, light cocoa nose. Medium light metallic base, tinny roast, rural, some acidity, pumpernickel finish.

Bottle picked up directly from the brewery shop Friday 2nd June 2023. Had this at home Monday 5th June 2023 we had a Mushroom Lasagna for tea and listening to New Music Fix Daily on 6Music with Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant. Pours almost black with a tan head, there is a little dark fruit skin twangy edge, but also some thin coffee and a little dark chocolate, also some coca cola. I'm not thinking that it's that smooth or creamy but it's fine, however as another €3.75 for a 330ml, I do think that they need to up the game with these offerings as they are not really up there with the standard traditional beers.

Ordentliche 6,0 % Alk und 16,5 % Stammwürze - das reicht vielleicht noch nicht für ein „Imperial Stout“, aber nach deutscher Definition ist das schon ein Bock. Tiefdunkelbraune, fast schwarze Farbe. Dunkelbrauner Schaum - sehr wenig davon, der aber schön cremig. Sehr röstig, sehr malzig - Kaffee und dunkle Schokolade. Etwas Trockenobst. Aber auch ganz leichte „grüne“ Noten - hat was von ungerösteten Kaffee- und Kakaobohnen, vielleicht auch eine bisschen Matetee. Einen winzigen Hauch von rotem Wein und weißen Sekt glaube ich außerdem zu erkennen. Nicht zu schwer. Weich, schön sämig. Trotzdem, etwas „Scharfes“ findet sich am Gaumen. Die sehr feinperlige Kohlensäure ist allerdings lediglich knapp über dem Mediumbereich angesiedelt - vielleicht wäre hier noch weniger, dann doch mehr. Interessant und schmackhaft ist es trotzdem.
