You’ve tried real ale. And you might think you know what real ale tastes like. But don’t be so shore. This is real exciting real ale. Columbus, Mosaic and Citra come together to give a light fruitiness and a balanced bitter finish all brought together with a lightly toasted biscuit and caramel aroma. Real ale like your grandad’s never tasted. This is punked up proper ale.

Bottle from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma has grains, spice, resin. Opaque amber. Creamy foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Grainy. Spice. Wood. Peripheral citrus. Underlying. Although, to be honest, probably served too cold. Light. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Old school BrewDog contribution.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Golden with a head. Pleasurably hoppy-sweet, with the latter a product of some fruitiness within the brew.

440ml can from Sainsbury's in South Malton, drank at my parents place on 30th December 2023. Clean amber body, decent white crown. Pleasant enough blend of piney and fruity hops with some malt action for balance. Nothing over the top or dominating, just an easy drinking beer.

Bottle. Clear amber featuring a big white head. Aroma of grass, skunk, straw and grapefruits. Taste of grapefruits, grass, caramel, biscuits, straw and malts. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Nice and easy. This ain’t outstanding but I just happen to love these kind of beers.

Can at home. Light amber color, clear, medium to full sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, quite hoppy, malty bitter with a metallic hoppiness to it. Decent body, average carbonation. Quite useful.
