Klar, dyp mørk amber med fyldig beige topp som daler sakte. Aroma; Karamell, sirup, malt, plomme, vaniljekrem, urter. Smak; karamell, sirup, plomme, humle, urter, malt, hint av lakris, toffee, kanel. Myk, lett, balansert. Varig ettersmak. Antagelig veldig god til fet julemat, da den er smaksfull men ikke for fyldig.

Can. Pours clear copper-brown with a large spongy dark beige head, high carbonation, spicy caramel aroma, mildly bitter caramel taste with spices (cinnamon-nutmeg), smooth body, long smooth finish. Very smooth and tasty.

Bottle at home. Pours dark reddish copper with dense beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits, almonds. Tastes slightly bitter with quite some sweetness. Medium bodied. Somehow thin finish.

From can on board Fridtjofen 22.09.20. Dark mahogany. Foamy and persistent brown head and lacing. Superb aroma and taste of dark malt, rasins, prunes, dates, figs, dark berryes and english x-mas pudding. Good!

From old tasting notes. Orange, brown color topped by a creamy tan head. Light toasted malt nose with sweet caramel notes. Sweet toasted malt flavor upfront with very little carbonation. Rich spicy flavor is spicy and delicious. Creamy mouthfeel and full-bodied. Mild hops in finish, but this is a malt dominant beer. Long malty aftertaste.
