330 ml bottle. Re-rating for 2 year aged version. Deep amber body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma has caramel and fruit with a hint of oxidation. Flavor is sweet and fruity with slightly burnt caramel, light oxidized. A pleasant beer that I enjoyed better after some storage and with a light hint of oxidation.

Sampled at a testing session of Norwegian Christmas beers in Tromsø last Friday. This is one of the better ones this year. Has got a creamy off-white head over an amber-brown body. Sweet malty aroma. Rich amount of burnt sweet malt in flavour supported by a welcoming touch of fruity tartness. There is also an ale-like component in the background. Well balanced. A classical Norwegian Yuletide beer and absolutly a candidate for the meat at xmas eve (08.12.2006).
