Sample from bottle. Almost clear amber body under a small tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, dry fruit and bread. Taste is sweet and smooth with malt, toffee, dark fruit, hint of chocolate and moderate bitterness. Nice.

Bottle. Lightly oxidized, but nice indeed. Dark dried fruit, toffee, bread crust and some dark chocolate. Pleasant indeed. 747414 251115

Storsalen. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma and flavor is roasted malt, licorice, fruit, bread.

Se det, i mørk og sterk fungerer det bedre. Dette gir juleølvibber, og det funger tross alt rimelig greit.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery, as Telemark Vinter. Parallell tasting with its alias, Telemark Bock. ABV is 6.5%, IBU 23. Dark reddish brown colour, large to moderate head. Moderate malty aroma, hints of bread, dust, caramel and over-ripe red berries. A certain difference in carbonation and mouthfeel, otherwise the two beers are obviously the same. The flavour is not too bad - notes of medium roast malts, caramel (but not very sweet), noticeable hops.
