Bottle, thanx a lot to Gunfryd for bringing this to the tasting, I was not expecting this from Wettre. Unclear orange golden body with a stable, dense off-white head. Aroma is funky and stable at its best with leather, cellar notes, horse blanket and everything farmhouse. So rough, so complex, so exiting and so nice – just had to sniff and enjoy this for a long time before taking the first sip. The taste is wonderful as well, cellar notes, farmhouse, ripe apple, sour fruit, sweet malt, really close to an authentic Belgium Geuze. Perfect body and really long lasting wonderful aftertaste. Perhaps the best “clean” geuze beer I have tasted outside Belgium. This came just out of nowhere for me, keep on the god work Wettre.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is brettanomyces, some oak, mild toffee and sour fruity elements. Flavour is sour, wooden, some acidic tones with mild wooden and some spruce tones. Also a bit red wine like dry tanninic elements to it.

Bottle, 75cl corked. Vintage 2018. A creamy off-white head forms over an unclear orange colored body. The aroma is lightly funky, with fruityness doing most of the work. Berries and rhubarb too. Barnyard, hints of leather and a faint note of hay and pale malts. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with a light warmth. Really small bubbles, giving it a creamy texture. Sourish, almost acidic flavor, some barnyard-ish funk, sour berries, grass notes and a hint of hay, as well as quite a lot of generic fruityness. Long, fruity, lightly funky finish with a good acidity. A pleasant one indeed, really tasteful, lacking a bit on complexity though. 201231
