Can. A close to pitch black one, topped by a dense, two-finger dark beige head leaving curtains. Quite piney and resiny aroma with quite a lot of roasted malts and some burnt notes. Hints of alcohol. It's very smooth on the palate, nicely carbonated, faintly warming and medium to full-bodied, with a pleasant bitterness. Piney, resiny flavor too, with roasted, lightly burnt malts in the back. Some prunes and licorice hints. Lasting finish. A really nice Black IPA, well made and tasteful. A pity there's so few good BIPA's these days. 230118

Canned (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, mediumsized brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is dark dried fruits, some fruits, mild toasted tones with some herbs. Flavour is dried fruits, some plum, mild toasted/roasted tones on the verge of ashiness and also quite sweet. Alcohol does show a bit with sweetness, but complements the beer. Actually very tasty, though on the verge of being too ashy as for my CDA preference. Luckily not. Very drinkable and enjoyable brew.
