12 ounce can from Binny's Springfield, 2/5/21.Slightly hazy orange, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of leafy, floral hops followed by dry lemon-like citrus. Taste is lemon, soap, green hops. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness. Maybe a tad bit past its prime but still pretty nice.

12oz can pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice grassy citrus hops and bread malts. Taste is more of the nice light malts and citrus hops.

12 oz can from Tavour. Bright, clear golden body with small foamy head. Dusty, grainy aroma. Dryness starts at the taste, more biscuit malts, and light hoppiness. Nice feel throughout. Lingering bitterness.

Draft at Famous Daveβs, Bolingbrook. Gotta say I agree with all the accolades. This is the most solid exemplar of its style that I can think of. A nice bouquet of piney and tangy hops that continues in the palate as well. Malt is sturdy, lightly sweet, and makes the hop bitterness all the more palatable. Some may want their uvulas scorched by excessive hoppiness, but this is the best use of Amarillos I can remember. Fully balanced and enjoyable.

Draft: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of floral citrus notes is quite nice. Taste is also a mix of citrusy floral hoppy notes with some light residual sugar notes and light piney notes and no real bitterness is discernable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easy to drink with nice flavours with no discernable bitterness.
