Mexican-Style Dark Lager
In Spanish slang, the phrase ‘no mames’ loosely translates to ‘no f#@kin’ way!’
Which is appropriate, because that’s exactly what I said when I first tasted this Mexican Dark Lager. The brew pours a deep amber-brown, but take a sip, and you’ll find yourself instantly refreshed by a deluge of light, crisp, malty flavors!
Hints of roasty espresso peek out from the corners, and if you let a drop linger on your taste buds you might discover a bit of baker’s chocolate. But none of that gets in the way of its thirst-quenching coolness.
This brew pairs beautifully with all your sunny summer activities! It’ll take you from lounging by the pool to working up a sweat in the yard without missing a beat.

Rated at Mash Craft Beer Festival 2023. Smooth, soft and slightly roasty with some malts, toffee and toasted notes. Quite crushable
Finally having this, which I've been ISO forever but it's silly to ship so thanks tavour! Chocolatey chicory crispy finish boi. Don't love it as much as OG no mames though, more roast than I'd love vs other dark lagers.

From tap @ Pien Shop, Helsinki on 21.12.2022. Poured mahogany in color. Light toasty nose, some bread and caramel. Watery.

Light and hoppy, a bit roasty and sweet, some peanutty nuttiness. Nice.

Can dated 5/20/2022. Pours a nice ruddy brown, modest head that settled into a thin layer of foam that held on well. Nice nose on this, caramelized malts aplenty, a hint of roast, but just a hint. Perhaps its almost a coffee note. Rounded maltiness, caramel and toasty, a touch of toffee. Semi-dry even with the lingering caramel flavors. Really well done, a perfect cure for my hop fatigue.
Went to the Everglades today. Threw up. Rode a 🚲 for 15 miles. Pool, shower, beer time before heading out for dinner.
