You've survived Death By Cherries, you've laughed in the face of Death By Pineapple, danced with the Kirsch of Death and emerged victorious, but this time, we're going south of the border. And death down there comes with a salted rim. A bright, zesty salt-sour beer, inspired by the cocktail of the same name.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Sainsbury’s in Dalston. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a fizzy, fading white foam head. Good fun, moderate sweetness, some oily lime, citric tartness, decent salty bite. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish. Highly drinkable.

Can that my lovely wife gave me - cheers! Dull gold with a light haze and a thin white head. Lime and salt and agave are the obvious flavours here. There's a light sweetness and tartness. Everything's really well balanced and above all it's very refreshing. It's a good 'un; I liked it.

Panda at home, thanks to Pappa Fergus, 07/01/24. Moderately hazed faded golden with a limited off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is a little thin, lemon rind, herb straw, grains, modest tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises pineapple, salt kiss, grape must, herb, straw, lemon rind, hint of glazed cherry on a stick. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge. Not bad for a supermarket beer .. captures the essence of a Margarita.

Can from Stacks.
A: clear golden, thin, off-white head.
A: lime juice, salt, lemon zest, sour cream, cucumber.
T: very sour lime flesh & zest, cucumber, pickle, salt.
F: tart lime juice, quite salty.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Gimmicky and not complex, but it does deliver.
