Thick, amber-shot cream head, with thick lace and veiled, lively carbonated copper-ochre beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Sweet apples, grains, appleleaves, faintly grassy, fresh hop. Quite bitter, leafy, melon, apples, appleskins, wood, alcohol & fusels, walnut, lupulin - all in good balance. Warming up, muscat grape flavour. Quite spritzy carbonation, slick to almost chewy, alcoholwarmth. I'm impressed with the way the Calvados lends appleflavours without making the beer boozy. And I have to admit that apparently, Crow Mountain are on an ascending slope. Fred would be pleased. Txs to Gunter and Ernest!

Kerstbier Festival. Clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of herbal pale malt, straw, grapes. Taste of herbal and spicy malt, grains, hay, long bitter finish.
