Draught @ Manifest Taproom. Pours black with a small brown head, light lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, salted caramel, chocolate cookies, light vanilla. Flavor is sweet, malt, salty caramel, cookies, little sweet chocolate, a touch of alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish. 040504

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small brown foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, syrup and some mild alcohol tones with a bit caramel and some toffee tones. Flavour is chocolate, some vanilla, alcohol, fudge and mild alcohol tones to it.

ABV: 8.1%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate - vanilla, caramel, cream, biscuit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, caramel, chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla, biscuit, salty caramel, cream - vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20240225]

440ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of salted caramel, chocolate, biscuits. Taste is sweet, salted caramel, chocolate biscuits, exactly as described really, not much more to it than that but it's simply a really well made pastry stout, not stupidly sweet or anything, not too salty, not overly boozy either. Medium bodied. Excellent!
