Chai IPA
One of the keys to the success of Jaipur is balance; we have strived for this while using a kaleidoscopic menagerie of flavourful additions, complementing the original IPA with cinnamon, ginger, clove, black pepper, cardamom and a delicate touch of oolong tea to round it out. These carefully selected spices each work to play with the grapefruit and pine already present from the hops, for a complex and truly rewarding drinking experience.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Almost clear bright golden, firm mid sized head. Perfumy nose with citrus and tea. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lemondrops and tea leafs. Long bitter finish. A very well made base beer enables the fairly intense flavouring to work out really well.

Can, small stable bubbly head, light hazy intense yellow colour, excellent combination of grapefruit lemon and chai, a bit of earthiness and black pepper, medium empathic mellow grapefruit bitterness. Excellent and original IPA.

Can at home, from Thornbridge online, 24/12/22. Clear golden with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is lemon tinged straw, herbal notes, grass, chai spice, orange zest. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, orange peel, light chai spice, herbal, grass, faint pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Not bad ... wouldn't be doing a session on this but really not worthy of the sub 3 scores for me!

440ml can from Thornbridge Beer Club - Clear gold body, small white head. Nose is bitter black tea, some hard spices, pretty harsh. Taste is unpleasantly sharp, pretty much like chewing a used teabag. Definitely around there with my least favourite Thornbridge beers, nope, not for me.
