Hayward is the most popular variety of Kiwifruit; a plant described as a vigorous, twining, deciduous climber with heart shaped leaves. For us, the most important part is just how great Kiwifruit tastes, particularly when combined with zesty lime! We thought this classic pairing would work perfectly in a kettle sour, enhancing the sharpness and providing a real spectrum of flavour. This beer is light, refreshing and full of zesty citrus, balanced with just a little tartness.

Super clean and tidy, nice lemony bite, low acidity, a little salt. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Would be a highly refreshing, warm-weather beer; it’s very nice on a grey March day as well.

Can at home picked up from Thornbeidge online. A light hazed bright yellow gold coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is super sharp and refreshing lime, zesty, pinch of salt, grass. Flavour is composed of light crisp grains, green citrus, lime, cucumber, sharp tangy finish. Palate is sharp and tangy, moderate carbonation.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear golden, fizzy head. Aroma of Lemon Fanta. Mid sweet with lemon juice concentrate and light body, clean mouthfeel. Mostly Lemon Fanta, some Grape Tonic too. Not worthy Thornbridge.

ABV: 4.2%. Clear light medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, kiwi, lime, sour. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, lime, citrus, dry, sour, kiwi touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240109]

Can (from KCM Seinäjoki Ideapark). Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is kiwi, lime and some citrus with mild tart tones. Flavour is lime, citrus, some kiwi and mild coriander-like elements too.
