Bottled (thanks CueSheet!). Deep brown colour with a big beige head, leaving some lace. Aroma is chocolate, some cocoa, mild tart wooden tones with some cherries and mild black currant too. Flavour is pretty much following the same pattern, but also has some alcohol sweetness kicking in. Messy.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma has sweet chocolate candy, artificial cocoa aroma. Medium-bodied. Sour, light notes of cherry. Light candyish notes. Kind of earthy-cellary vibe. Alcoholic. Thinnish for ABV. Feels more like "stout gone wrong" than real sour beer.
