This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was an amber color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head. Moderate speckled lace.
The aroma had some toasted caramel and toffee malts with a grassy and light citrusy bitter hoppiness.
The flavor balances nicely between the toasted malts and hops. The balance seems to flow nicely between the hops and malts on into the aftertaste and leads into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation feels good on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a worthy Amber ale of coming back to and wouldn’t mind having with it’s respected food.
