Bottled (from Alko). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, some toffee and mild toast. Flavour is mild pine, some spruce, quite strong bitterness. A bit harsh aftertaste.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with a small, off-white head. Nutty aroma. Medium body, dry maltiness, toffee - but not sweet. Light bitterness. The dryness makes it quaffable. 281118

Tap @ SOPP Turku 2018. Smell of malt, some caramel. Copper colour, off-white head. Aroma of malt, grass, some faint caramel notes. Very dry palate, flat carbon. Light body, yet very nice red ale.

On tap at Panema, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, with very laid back hoppy resins. Flavour is similar, with dry bready malt and almost nonexistent hops. Dry and bready. Not an interesting beer.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 08.06.2018, from a supermarket, 20171020) The beer reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had earth, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, caramel, molasses, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A nice malty brew with bit too much caramel. The pine branches used escaped my senses.

Bottle 0.5l at home, Vantaa. BBE 12.04.2018. Colour is slighly cloudy deep dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Caramel, pine, dryness, some grape, some spruce, some biscuits and malts. Pretty good! Nice and fresh. Needs little bit of more malty backbone.

A coppery beer, a head is almost medium and light beige. Aroma has wood and grain, also some unpleasant rotten notes. Taste has wood and bread, mild bitterness, some pine. Almost medium bodied, smooth. Rare miss from Mamgård.
