Zundert 10 Trappist is een quadrupel met een licht kruidige toets die onze bieren kenmerkt. Dit trappistenbier is diep roodbruin van kleur, met een mooie, licht beige, schuimkraag. De geur geeft hints van gedroogde zuidvruchten, zwoele kruiden, drop en een beetje chocolade. De smaak is vol en zacht, in balans gebracht door een mooie hopbitterheid. In de nasmaak keert de Zundertse kruidigheid subtiel terug.

Bottle via Beermalade online tasting. Mostly dried fruits, sherry, also dark caramel, cane sugar. Initial impression moderately sweet, but dries out very quickly. High carbonation. Good.

Served at home from The Sub. Creamy beige head left a spotty cover on a near black still body. Malt, liquorice & dark spirits aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lighter clean back. Malt, dark spirits, berries, liquorice & fruity tastes with a big boozy finish. Nice one.

Bottle from a non-recent EU-RB trade with Mallorn. Cheers. Amazing the stuff that turns up in the cellar when you search hard enough. Dark brown with a foamy, beige head. Aroma full of prunes and butterscotch. Something under there whiffs faintly of a cola/ banana ice cream float. Taste is mildly sweet on a medium, prickly body. No sign of the alcohol. Good stuff.

Appearance: cloudy deep brown with a tall and dense beige head of perfect retention. Aroma: Rich fruity esters, toast, spicy notes, dark chocolate, some hop. Taste: relatively dry, rich malts and esters, pie crust, dark chocolate, spicy yeast, hop. Low to light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: Very good.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Dark brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of malts, brown kandij sugar, dark dried fruits incl. raisins, oak, hints of mild spices. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, very distinct kandij sugar. Very moderate hops.

0,33 flaske fra det beste apoteket i Herbarium for profylakse over 4,7 - delt hemningsløst med meg selv hjemme: vakker, dyprød ravfarge med forbilledlig skum. Portvinsmarinerte svisker og fiken, skorper fra hjemmebakt brød rett fra ovnen, mørk kandis, hint av bjørnebær/solbær. Midt i blinken for en lille smule egenpleje hvornår du måtte føle for det, og en 0,33 er akkurat tilrækkeligt!
