Bottled. Black colour, beigeish brown smallcreamy head. Aroma is coffee, some liquorice, mild roasted notes, alcohol as well as some wood and mild toffee. Flavour is whisky, wood, some quite sweet ripe dried fruitiness along with alcohol and coffee.

33cl bottle. A black beer with a big tan head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, liquorice, coffee and some bitter hops. Taste of roasted bitter dark malt, coffee and liquorice.

Thx to VastActiv for this bottle. Black, opaque color and a huge tan head. Nose is malty, dsrk chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla. Taste starts with slightly bitter, roasted malts, followed by vanilla and cask flavors. Strong, bittersweet finish.

Bottle at a tasting with the RB boys. Lots of malty character, rich and intense. Chocolate, coffee, light toffee, nuts. Dried fruits, figs. Light wood. Assertive alcoholic warmth, a bit too much for my liking, but at least its well rounded. Sipper, but a good one.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2019-1 thanks to Rosenbergh] at home. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium to full sized brown head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, peat / peated malts. Flavor is similar: malts, dark and roasted malts, peat, malt bitter. Medium body, suitable fairly soft carbonation. Nice.
