Medium brown, with a thin head. Soft and sweet, lots of vanilla and big rounded Heaven Hill. There's only a little date accent, and not really showing spice. Nevertheless it is evocative of sticky toffee pudding.

Can from Luvians, St Andrews. It pours darkest brown with a khaki head. The aroma is toasty, sappy, oily, sticky, toasted brown sugars, toffee, vanilla, rye soaked oak, spicy/herbal accents, umami, liquorice, chocolate gateaux and some jam rolly polly. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, toasted brown sugars, vanilla, rye soaked oak, chewy, toothy, warming spice, boozey heat, chocolate, toffee crisp, dried fruits, jammy, jammy wagon wheel, toasted marshmallow, tunnocks tea cake and fruit cake with a slick, oily / chewy finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Has quite an interesting flavour profile and balance.

440 ml can. Pours a light brown with short fizzy head. Aromas of sweet oaky bourbon, caramel, and raisin bread. Flavors follow same with a little anise (tho might have missed if not on the label…), some sharp rye and lots of toasty malts. Sticky. Excellent.

440ml shared with Phill and Faress @ Ryan's. Appearance: copper with a beige head. Aroma: nice barrel, moderately sweet, some dark fruits. Taste: along the same lines, quite smooth, some little booze. Overall: nice one.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 01/12/22). Dark mahogany brown with minimal off-white head. Dates, rye, maple, vanilla, hint of anise, underlying bourbon barrel. Enjoyable.

440mL can, pours a deep dark filthy brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out maple, bourbon barrels, light anise, light fenugreek, and a touch of spicy rye. Flavour is very rich but not cloying, with deep bourbon barrels, sweet date, light anise and fenugreek, and light roast. Syrupy and bourbony finish with good balance. Interesting experiment — I think it worked but I don't really get the spices.
