Lunar Transit is a Hazy-ish IPA using Citra, Amarillo & Simcoe hops. It's like watching a full moon rise i the desert, then enjoying the night under a cloudless sky. Lunar Transit is light, crisp and full of juicy hop flavor. Enjoy the moonlight!

355ml can. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of bready pale malt, lemon zest and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, orange peel, pineapple and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and average to soft carbonation. More of an APA. Just ok.

On tap pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice citrus pine hops and some grain malts. Taste is more of the nice citrus forward hops and some well balanced malt bill.

Nearly clear light golden, white froth. Some sweet fruity citrus and pale malt in the aroma. Citrusy bitter flavour, pale malt sweetness. Rather thin.

Straw colored with a fluffy, white head. Lemon zest and citrus aroma that stays fairly subdued. Taste is bitter the whole way through. Body to the light side of medium, watery texture. Ok, but uninspired.

On tap at Juniper Valley Ranch. Pours a hazy-ish, yellow color, wiht a small, frothy, white head and good lacing. The nose is lemon zest, sage, pine needles, and light caramel. Sweet and sugary, with a light, bracing bitterness. A little tart. Light body, with a sharp, lightly acidic palate. This is a fair, easy IPA, but seems lacking.

Another one of a gahzillion IPA, and I bet this tastes the same as all the others. LOL Whow, out of the can its not only hazy, its got chunks floating around in there. Thin creamy white head. Smell is piney hops and sweet rubber. Taste is not as strong as most IPA, it almost acts as if it wants to behave. Almost can call this an APA. In the middle, it does start to show its IPA character but it still is not really in yer face. Lacks the cabbage veggie feel of most session IPA. Near the end I almost find it refreshing! BTW, I hate IPA. So if yer an IPA lover, this may not be for you, its simply not insulting. Just a gently made stroner flavored APA that knows its place.
