330 ml bottle, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.5%. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, yeast and brown bread, a hint of caramel. The flavour is nutty, malty, bready and yeasty, hints of fruity hops / dark fruits. A bit too yeasty for me.

Bottle @ home. Clear, dark brown body under a fine beige head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and some toffee. Taste has balanced sweet, smooth dark malt, dark chocolate, toffee, dry fruit and biscuit. Balanced body and same aftertaste. A very decent brown ale at this ABV indeed. Very food friendly.

200ml draught, sample tray at Apollon in Tønsberg. Filmy layer with crocheted lacing on the glass, clear nut brown body. Promising brown malty nose, nicely roasted. Balanced taste of fruity caramel, biscuit and bread. Some hints of leafy hops towards a lightly roasted finish. Autumn feel. Like it. (Tønsberg, 28.10.2023).

Drukket på Bergstua. Mørk amber. Klar. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Daler sakte. God karamellaroma. Smaken karamell & tørket steinfrukt. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning. En behagelig ettersmak av røstet malt sitter i. Utmerket matøl - til kjøttretter.
