7.5 oz “Mini Ripper” can. Aroma is packed, with notes of pineapple, guava, strawberry. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone-white head with good retention. Taste is moderately bitter with typical sweetness and strong tropical flavors. Thin bodied and watery for such a big beer. Alcohol also fairly obscured behind the big flavors. Possibly artificially flavored.

Can, from Whole Foods - Upper West Side, Manhattan NYC. Pours faintly cloudy lemon yellow with a large foamy off-white head, tropic fruit aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter mango-tropical fruit taste, thin body, long medium bitter finish. The taste feels a bit artificial, but the alcohol is well covered.

19.2 oz can from Joe Canal's, 3/3/25. Somewhat clear yellowish-gold, white head, light lace. Tropical, grapefruit, peach, melon, pineapple. On the juicy side. Fruit forward. Straight up juiciness here. Absolute fruit domination here. I enjoyed it well enough.

Can (21Jul2024, I think best by vs. canned on) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Deeply hazy dark yellow-light brown with tons of sparkle, thin head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple, candied orange, tropical fruit, hint of cherry. Taste is strong sweet pineapple, caramel, tropical fruit. Smooth, frothy texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Too sweet and tastes synthetic/adjunct-derived vs. hop-based. Not a favorite Voodoo Ranger.

12 oz. can. Big pineapple and orange nose. Hazy yellow pour with a thick white head. Taste is kind o decent, but the added fruit flavoring seems like overkilll. A good hop mix could have accomplished the same thing. Would like to feel the alcohol at some point.
