Escura, bastante. Não revelou muita espuma nem carbono.Sabor a caramelo salgado, chocolate , umas notas de baunilha, pão de centeio. Corpo médio e suave. Um bom exemplar, bastante bebestível.

330ml can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - jet black body with a firm tan head. Lots of chocolate, liquorice, black coffee, cake fruit, bitter tang. Big strong body. Very nice.

Bottle shared at Monyo. Pours deep brown, almost black with a beige head. Nose is grains, nuts, a spicy touch. Taste is chocolate, nuts, that spicy character that I reckon might be the rye. Medium malty finish, light body, soft to average carbonation. Light and flavourful, nice.

On tap @ prima edizione di Mash, Craft Beers & Arts Festival, Milano 2019.

From tap at Van Zanten, Amersfoort. Roasty aroma with notes of salty liquorice, coffee, some hoppy tones. Lightly chocolate. Roasty hoppy bitterness, light to moderate sweet. Medium body. Easy Porter, pretty straightforward.

Pours very dark brown, looks almost black in the glass. Small to medium sized, greyish to slightly brownish head; decent retention, little lacing. A pretty simple but nicely intense and clean aroma: light roasted malts with hints of milk coffee, pretty vivid chocolate and vanilla notes. Taste is quite simple as well, just slightly less, still nicely clean and intense: very light roasted notes with a hint of milk coffee, soft chocolate notes, vanilla, a faint refreshing herbal/grassy feeling with a hint of bitterness in finish/aftertaste. Medium to high sweetness, medium bitterness, a soft/milky sweet edge in the mouth, a balanced finish. It's a quite pastry interpretation of the porter style, with a soft, borderline milky feel, but it's clean/precise and nicely balanced, not grossly pastry like many others. Light to medium body, low to medium, delicate carbonation; very easy to drink with a hint of creaminess. Nice one.

Very classic roasty porter, definitely get a bit of the rye.
