Our friends insisted on calling it a 'Triple du Nouveau Monde.' Indeed, it's a fairly robust blonde (7.5%), packed with a good dose of spelt and fermented with our in-house yeast for that Belgian twist. However, it's heavily hopped with North American hops (from the USA to be precise), carefully chosen by J-F, who is the master brewer of DDC.
The result is a super aromatic beer, bursting with exotic fruits like pink grapefruit, passion fruit, starfruit, prickly pear, and yuzu. This fruity explosion is complemented by complex floral notes and backed by a slightly resinous touch. Its bitterness is subtle but present (we make beer, not fruit juice!), balanced by a nice, soft body, with a low CO2 saturation to up its drinkability.
A beer that brings a bit of summer to the heart of this gloomy winter and that will warm you up pleasantly!

Bottle. HOTM. Hazed yellow. Slim super dense lasting white foam. Wasn’t expecting the tropical notes here, but there you go. Pineapple and yellow melon. That De La Senne fruity yeast in spades too. Clean malt backdrop. Taste has a little ice cream sweetness before getting dry and pithy. Smooth and mouth filling with soft rolling carbonation. Dry and pithy finish. Great stuff. Unreal easy drinking at the ABV.

Hoppy and fruity, plenty bitter. Grainy malts, grapefruit, florals, not much yeastiness. Quite hefty, smooth, very nice.

Yellow, hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, ripe stone fruits, citrus, dough, biscuit, some vanilla. Tastes similar, a bit more piney and mineralic. Velvety mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, moderately bitter, very fruity again, citric, a bit piney, a bit mineralic, yeasty. Very tasty! Loads of sweet juicy fruits everywhere, with an aromatic character almost like fruit puree, but it drinks very fresh and crisp at the same time, this isn't a NEIPA juice bomb. Exceptionally balanced! Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 5 / 17

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear yellow-gold with a modest, foamy white head that settles. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of pale biscuits, sourdough, straw, lemon rind, pithy citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Tidy finish, a little lime rind, more sourdough, biscuits, lemon, a nip of fresh grass. Highly drinkable.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon meringue and salted grapefruit. Flavour of soft malt, melon, rich tea biscuit and juicy lemon. Medium body with a velvety mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A highly hopped, juicy Tripel. mike_77 describes it well - this is like a NEIPA blended with a Tripel.

Tight white head left a thin cover on a pale lemon coloured body. Citrus, yeast & zesty aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp dry clean back. Lemon, yeast, bubble gum & zesty tastes with a fruity hopped finish. Banging Tripel.
