2023 bottle. Nice maple syrup smell as I pour into my tulip. Foamy brown head that dwindles swiftly. With my nose in the glass, I get some hot alcohol with a lighter note of maple. Taste has bourbon with extra sweetness. Kind of like an Old Fashioned. Gets heady after a few sips. The bourbon and maple are much more noticeable that any roasty malt, so it's a different beast that other Impy Stouts.

Malm� Feb 2024 tasting - sweet roasted dark malty with lots of sweet maple, caramel and toffee sweetness coming in, full bodied, dark malty finish. Classic.

Way more coffee forward than I recall. Was hoping for more barrel and maple.

Thoughts are with Tom Lockyer and his family after suffering cardiac arrest during the match vs Bournemouth.
