Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a neat rich and lacing white head with good retention. Malty, sweet nose with a hint of wort. Light body, very smooth mouthfeel. Minerally - even salty, mostly malty with only discreet wort accents. Some finishing bitterness. Quenching and quite decent. 301125

Bottle from Altinger. Golden, fine carbonation, white lace. Citric and grassy aroma on a light papery malt note. Surprisingly chewy medium dry body, fine sparkly, fat grassy hops, a hint citric and flowery aromatics, any worty notes stay well hidden, lightly thin, but still moreish finish. good one.

Pours clear, darker bright yellowgolden color. Medium large white, stable head. Scent is malty, very naturally and bready, like brewing beer but less DMS (luckely) Not very intense but surely not bad at all. Taste is very mild, somewhat malty, but mostly just 'empty'. Tad sweet, some minor bitterness. Like beer-flavored sparkling water, more than AF beer. Nothing bad, nothing wrong, just so damn weak (yes, weak IN the category of NA) that it's hard to give this one much love.

A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, bread, cereals. Taste of breadish sweet malt, cereals, pale malt, moderate spicy bitterness.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Dough-like aroma. Taste is very mildly bitter throughout. Clean, fresh feel though compared to a lot in the style, and decent chewiness despite a mildly watery texture. Refreshing. Quite good for the style.

Glass at Andechser am Dom in München. Gold color, nice head, a bit grainy and watery with decent generic hop bitterness. It's alright, not worty sweet, but lacking a bit of flavor. Pretty decent for alkfrei.

Andechser Hell alkoholfrei, Flasche von Markgrafen, Kulmbach. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase die erwartbare Traubenzuckersüße, Bierwürze und feine zitronige Hopfung mit ein wenig Kräuterbonbon. - Antrunk dünn und strohig hellmalzig, wodurch die unerwartet solide, trocken zitronenschalige Hopfung gut zur Geltung kommt. Erfreulich wenig süß, zart säuerlich. An den dünnen Körper gewöhnt man sich allmählich. Im Abgang gar nicht so knappe Hopfenherbe. - Brauchbares Alkoholfreies, das allerdings mit dem regulären Andechser Hell kaum Ähnlichkeit hat, fehlen ihm doch dessen schöne Malzigkeit und das subtile Zusammenspiel mit der Hopfung. Dennoch empfehlenswert. (11.8.2024.)
