From tap at På kornet, Stavanger, with BHK 26.02.26 after seeing Living the Land at the cinema. Milky pale straw colour. White head. Refreshing and strong taste of lychee, grapefruit, apricot, papaya and hints of herbs. Solid bitterness. Good.

Tap at Ambasada. Murky yellow body, off-white head. Bit oniony, citric aroma, light dry caramel maltiness aroma. Leanish, sweetish taste, smoothish, ishish, caramel, herbal notes, vague random fruity undertone, bit resinous, maybe not fresh, herbal, bitterish, nice body but the taste is a mess slightly. Somehow, it still works.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small and very short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine carbonation coming through late on. Smooth pale malts, a decent creamy sweetness. Tangy ripe orange hop fruits, soft pine, a fair degree of candy fruits, whisper of something tropical. A light and semi dry finish brings very mild touches of both bitterness and hop spice. Solid if unremarkable dipa.

440ml can. Opaque yellow, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, grape, gooseberry, herbal. Taste is intensely hopped, pithy grapefruit, tropical fruits, gooseberry, vinous notes, herbal, dank, pithy hop bitter finish bordering on hop burn. Medium bodied.

440ml can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, herbal, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, orange tangerine, light herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 18/06/2025.
Murky orange topped with a white cap that thins to a swirl in time.
Nose is punchy tropicana, grass, mandarin, pineapple, lychee.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, pine needle, grapefruit, pine resin, dank chimes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with grassy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a light rising boost.
Tidy DIPA.
