Bottle, 4.8%. Hay aroma, light malts, mild fresh yeast. Almost clear golden colour. Big stable rocky white head. The flavour is yeasty and malty. High carbonation. Yeasty but clean.

Helder goudgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en licht kruidig met iets van citrus en wat gras. Heel smaakvol bier.

Bottle. Clear golden, bit white head. Cloves, wheat, allspice, light citrus zest. Very spicy, this has a lof of yeast character. Medium sweet and more bitter. Just medium bodied. Meh.

Pours clear, yellowblonde. Rather big, fast imploding white head. Scent is straight up BE yeast (banana, 4VG) over a medium malty base. Taste is fairly sharp, bit more to the bitter side than the average for the style. Still, very yeast-driven, but not as sticky, exhausting and also slightly less sweet than the average BE blonde. Medium high to high carbo over a fairly thin body (bit oily due to the esthers) Nothing spectacular, but nothing 'off' either.

Huge, dense, whipped eggwhite-like head, stable, over quite lively carbonated golden beer. Green leaves, yeast, bit toasted, aromatic herbs, slightly grassy. Toasted, partly heated but not roasted grains, other grains, very light sweetness. I might have guessed some coriander for a moment, but apparently not. Pharmaceutical, dried herbs, not fresh. Something as heated plastic. Not very creamy - head excepted - despite the oats, but the rather fizzy carbonation is counterworking. Light body. For a moment, I thought Huyghe had outdone themselves. Not so, in the end, let's safely keep on the bland side.

On tap at Bier Paleis Brugge. Tasty Belgian blond. Tasty enough strong beer. Not much hop or bitterness but the malts are sweetish and pleasant. Fine.

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Fruity, hints of citrus, a bit soapy, bitter and dry finish. Easy drinkable.

33cl bottle from Delhaize Chazal in Brussels. F: big, white, average retention. C: pale gold, clear. A: banana, coriander, bready, bit corny, apples, pears, spicy touch. T: medium malty base, bready, bit coriander, banana, pears, honey, spicy, bit soapy, metallic touch, medium carbonation, nothing really special here, ok for the style.
