Karanska 9 is a light, bottom fermented beer made by the classic recipe. We brewed it with our trusted ingredients and methods. We used only Czech hops (Saaz and Sládek), combined pilsner and munchen malt and mash process. That all makes Karanska 9 a balanced, tasty and distinctive beer. It has mild zest, light yellow colour and balanced bitterness. A lower wort level gives it light body and makes it very easy to drink. It’s alcohol content is 3,9%.

Canned 500ml. -at Projekt Ljubljana, shared with Hrabren. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy and light bready nose. Grainy, bready, light herbal and bit dusty with dry finish.

0.5 l can shared with Ogi at Projekt, Ljubljana. Clear golden, small off-white head. Grainy aroma, soft floral note. Sweet bready flavour. Light bitterness. Clean fermentation profile. Light body, light dry finish.

On tap at Vinohradský, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has light grassiness, corn, vegetable notes, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour has a herbal hop character, straw, and crisp biscuity malt. Too herbal and lacking crispness. It’s alright.

Barva svetle zlatava. Pena husta, vrstvicka zustava. Vune slad, trocha citrusu. Chut sladova, konec suchy, hint citrusu. Trocha chleba. Horkost stredni at best. Plnost nizka az vodova. Fajn na zizen, k jelenovi ideal

Thin body, does not feel watery. Med-high carbo. Medium bitterness, low sweetness, pretty dry. Medium bready maltiness, medium grassy herbal hops character. Overall a clean, easy, classic lager. Very good.

On tap at Vinohradský. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Dry nose, lots of grass and straw, gentle herbal character. Flavour is dry and crisp, soft cracker malts, straw, dry herbal grass. Good carbonation. Very nice.

Draught @ Vinohradska, Prague. Pours slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, light yeast, hay. Flavor is light sweet, malt, light yeast, hay, light fruit. Medium body, average to lively carbonation. 060824
