16 oz can Pours a hazy light orange peach color. Lots of pithy hops in the aroma and flavor. More citrus zest in the flavors and quite a bit of bitterness for a hazy. Dry finish and clean. Quite good.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Nice to see more Surly finding our shelves in the PNW. Thick, juicy orange haze, cream foam head. Juicy palate, smooth, cool citrus and tropical flavors. Really easy drinking brew here for a borderline imperial. I had a feeling this would be a really good brew, to separate from others in a style I've become a little bored with. This was ultimately refreshing and enjoyable. Awesome.

Quarantine Beer #022 sampled from growler at home on 03/19/2020. Clear dark orange color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Herbal hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, citrus, melon and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

16 ounce can. Bright medium gold color. Creamy white head is minimal. Nice clinging lace. Aroma is subtle. Notes of berry, lemon and stone fruit. This brew is paradoxical. Can label says it’s a hazy IPA, but it is quite clear. The name “One Man Mosh Pit” conjures up images of chaos and bedlam, be it in a singular sense. Yet the flavor is rather clean and subdued. Maybe I’m overthinking this. The beer is quite tasty. Notes of biscuit malt, lemon-lime, mint, pear and lychees. Yeah, I said lychees. Actually, lychees taste like grapes with a hint of rose. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Cheers!

Can ( 11/14/19--didn't see date on outside of cardboard packaging) pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Appearance is opaque orange-juice-y yellow with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit--strong guava and mango, milder pineapple rind, background biscuit malt backbone. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with virtually no bitterness. Overall, decent look and strong, juicy aroma and taste, while a bit thin for the style. Quite good especially for being so old.

32oz crowler pours with a murky hazy gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a nice near white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangelo, mango and pineapple. Nice. The taste delivers a pleasing balanced blend of juicy tangelo and mango and guava and a bit of pineapple. Both juicy and tangy fruitiness. Toward the finish a thin layer of cracker like maltiness bubbles to the surface and further enhancing the experience. This is really nice and I love the juicy tangy tropical to citrus balance and that it stays far far away from being too sweet like so many in this 'style' sadly do.

Very good NEIPA, full of citrus and pineapple and berry, underlined by bubblegum, chive, and a touch of earthiness. Finishes with a lingering orange zest fade mixed with a hint if pine. Tasty.
