Draught Yellow head soon reduced to rim; hazy amber beer. Rum very obvious in the nose, sweet, boozy, raisins, hint of young wood. Much less sweet in the mouth, even a certain discreet acidity. Again wood. Raisins, but again with reduced sweetness, dry. Very faint roast. Reduced (I keep repeating) slickness by the alcohol. Not very carbonated. The aftertaste gives a full feel of warmth, complexity and depth. Interesting. Usually, I'm not a big fan of rum for barrel ageing, but this one is a success.
