Bottle from a local bottle shop. Big beany coffee aroma with dark malt, roast, caramel, and coffee grounds. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Great coffee aroma, body leaves something to be desired. That being said, this is a fine Coffee Porter.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in January 2018. Clear, very dark ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, lots of coffee and some licorice. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, loads of coffee, some licorice and a touch of hazelnut, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A bit simple and monotonous, but quite intense and tasty nevertheless.

Bottle shared at/with Maakun! And the beer is dark brown, with a crema head. JUST LIKE COFFEE! And guess what, it tastes just like coffee & beer too! Big black roasty toasty coffee beans up yer snout! Big sweet choco coffee moccha cocoa bean toffee. This hits my several spots really well. Nutty earthy, honey, truffle, roasted (coco)nuts. Loving this. Sweet and bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Coffee flavored maple syrup!
