BALOR is a Celtic giant who is known for leaving death and destruction in his wake. We imagine him as a revolting cyclops who shoots deadly rays from his huge eye, striking fear in the hearts of all who cross his path. This limited edition beer is an Imperial Coffee Porter. It is lagered on Brasil Esperanca Coffee Beans for two days, roasted by Keppler Coffee. This brings rich coffee aromas on the nose while boosting cocoa and nutty flavors to your tongue. The balanced whole is rounded off with a mild malty sweetness. Limited to 2.300 bottles // Released: February 2018

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear dark brown with small light brown head. Sweet coffee, roasted nuts, toffee, peanuts, caramel, light creamy notes with maybe some oats, quite some dark chocolate, light alcohol. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel. Quite nice, good use of coffee.

Small cream head, fast gone over redbrown beer, slightly hazy. Leather, felt, tobacco, seaweed, saltiness and finish with a lot of coffeedrab. Bitterish with a sweeter finish; quite roasted, dry. Bit nutty, walnutpeel (not too bitter) . Coffee, yes, but once more rather restrained. Some exotic lettuce. Quite smooth , silky feel, towards oily; well bodied, soft carbonation. Smooth, rather than exciting. 7/4/7/4/14
