--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, small head. Aroma of coffee and caramel. Sweet with medium to full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and treacle, lot of coffee. Long bitter finish. Feels sterile.

Slow building up to good, rather stable russet head over black beer, viscously pouring. Coffee indeed, cold coffee, coffee grind rests, and a bit of cigarette ashes. Sweet dark malts suggested. Almost pure coffee, but on a quite sweet underbuild, very malty. Quite well bodied and viscously slick. Good carbonation, sticky on the lips in the end. Well, if one likes sweet coffee, this is it. Txs to Stef!

16oz can from Beers of the World at Zurich HB. No glass, but man I wish I’d poured this. Nose is really nice, malt and brown sugar, fragrant coffee, espresso but also a sweetened mocha character, some licorice. Flavor amps the sweetness. Too much? Maybe. But I’m here for it. This almost reminds me of a fancy irish coffee, you have deep dark coffee, some booze, some brown sugary sweetness, a little creamy texture. I’m in. Can was much easier to drink than it should have been. 8 3 8 4 15

0.44 l can from 'AH XL' (Enschede), canned in February 2024. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, fairly roasty aroma of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice and a touch of roasted hazelnut. Fairly sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some roasted hazelnut and hints of licorice, followed by a medium long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great coffee stout, super thick and creamy. Fantastic supermarket beer!
