Just like the single version of Pan IPAni, this one is jam packed with American hops. This, and then a generous amount of wheat malt and wheat flakes result in a round, creamy and elegant beverage. It’s strong, treacherously so, the bitterness moderate and orangey. When brewing Pan IPAni Double we wanted to check if one could possibly get even more out of the American hops — more rich fruitiness, deep and fleshy. You can almost feel full by just smelling it!

Pours slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Lemon, lime and tangerine aromas. Soft with sourdough and caramel upfront turning to tangerine and resin in the lasting finish.

Bottle @ Novotel, Gdansk. Pours dark yellow with an offwhite head. Aroma of light malt, grass, fruity hops, bitter citrus, grapefruit, also some onions. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, grass, rich fruity, peach, citrus, grapefruit. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 071117

Bottle (thanks ArtificialCyst). Pours golden with whiteish head. Aroma is hoppy, fruits, citrus, wheat. Flavor is sweet and bitter, wheat, citrus, dryness. Finish is sweet and dry. Overall: good.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata carica, torbida, schiuma bianca media e persistente. Al naso tante frutta tropicale, mango, passionfruit, melone, agrumi, malto. In bocca è equilibrata, non proprio di facile beva, ma appagante, amaro medio. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Buona.

Botella 50 cl en el Lúpulo Oviedo 07..05..2017. Lote 0196 hasta 18..09..2017. (r94). Color marrón amarillento turbio con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores maltosos intensos con toques afrutados tropicales dulces. Toques de herbáceos y cortezas de pino algo especiados. Cuerpo medio con buena sensación alcohólica. Bastante buena. Para repetir.

Huge thanks to Mesjasz for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Nice hoppy aroma. Starts intense hoppy, flowery, modest bitter. Dry-fruity notes of lemon, sour grapes, some apricot. Finish less fruity, still sour, salty hints. Nice one!

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, a good fine crispness. Light and sweet malts, touch of milky sweetness, but it intergrates quite well. Good piney hops, lesser orange and tangerine. Mild hop spice. Whisper of mango on the light tangy finish. Decent.

Pomarańczowa barwa, mocno zamglone, piana bujna delikatnie oblepia szklankę. Po otwarciu butelki aromat cytrusowy jednak po ogrzaniu wychodzi lekki rozpuszczalnik. W smaku lekko owocowe, wyczuwalna łodyga z słodową kontrą. Gorycz na średnim poziomie. Spodziewałem się więcej.
