Dark brown colour, tiny brownish head. Sticky, roasted, sweet, bourbonic, bready aroma. Full-bodied. Sweetish, coffiesh, bready flavour. Shows ageing. Good.

Bottle@pbf XIV. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is dried fruits, some chocolate, toast and mild toffee to it. Flavour is dried fruits, plum and toasted tones with mild alcohol tones. Sweet.

Bottled at PBF XIV. Poured near black in color, off white head. Intense bourbon notes with soaked figs, sweetness, chocolate pralines. Heavy and sweet.

--Canned at PBF XIV -- Dark brown, small head. Rich aroma of milk chocolate, caramel and bourbon. Sticky sweet with full body and roundef mouthfeel. Chocolate sauce on caramel pudding with bourbon on top. Simplistic pastry stout disguised as barleywine.

Sample from the bottle at ViljaBeerfest, Tampere. Color is very dark brown with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, bourbon, roasted malts.

4oz at High Side. Oily, nearly still caramel brown, no head, light legs. Nose is boozy, malty, cream soda, caramel, light medicinal herbs. Flavor has some of that astringent witchhazel and worm wood, caramel, brown sugar, some earthiness and smoke towards the end. A long finish, sweet but not cloying, saves this from normality.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits, caramel, oak, alcohol and chocolate. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, dried fruity, caramel, oak, fruity and chocolate finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

650ml bottle @ Pien, Helsinki. Super sweet, malty and syrupy with some bourbon, toffee, prunes, plums, figs and vanilla. Too sweet, sticky and sugary.
