Bottle, 22oz. A dark brown one, oily, with a small beige head. The aroma has lots of alcohol, some dark dried fruits, a good dash of caramel and toffee, with caramel sauce and meaty hints. It's full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, with lots of malty flavors. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, leather, caramel sauce, some alcohol and meaty notes. Bottle at share. What a great way to start the week! Near black, slick pour, ring of beige head. Aroma is sweet leathery malts, tobacco and a good dollop of booziness. Taste brings out some savory notes, along with some molasses and vanilla. Smooth and strong.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours hazy darkest brown to black with a small khaki head. The aroma is rich and oily, sticky, toasty, umami, leather, tannin, boozey kick, liquorice, inky, earthy, spice, pumpernickel and cacao. The taste is slick, oily, tangy, dark fruits, plum, prune, figgy pudding, jammy, tangy, tannin, oak, spice, warming alcohol, jammy dodger, fruit purée, candy and a nip of booze with a tangy, finish. Fulsome body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Tangy and fruity finish. Fun stuff.

Flavor is very sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, wood, dried fruit, oak, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Honey dipped prunes is a perfect description, citation David B. Thanks for that, describes this well. At closer to room temp those flavors mellow out to mad easy drinking light medium mouthfeel but thick syrupy finish barleywine barrel forward love.

Flaska från Ölkassen. Brunsvart, liten mörkbrun krona som snabbt försvinner. Djupa toner av russin och katrinplommon, dessertvin, Bourbon, lite Läkerol, rostat socker, fruktläder. Stor och fyllig med oxiderade malttoner. Ska dock sägas att det definitivt är åt det stoutigare hållet.
