Draught @ Hoppiness Beer&Food, Chmielna 27/31 lok.76, Warszawa, Poland 00-021. [ As Szalpiw Buba Fest ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, alcohol - phenol, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, fruity yeast, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, dried dark fruit, belgium yeast, buzzy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160204]

Kolor ciemny brąz. Piana jasna, średniopęcherzykowa. W aromacie rodzynki, skórka od chleba, karmel, czerwone owoce, wiśnie, wino, praliny, ogólnie Belgia. Bardzo intensywny aromat. W smaku jest przede wszystkim słodko. Przewijają się rodzynki, śliwki, sporo karmelu. Wszystko wieńczone jest szlachetną, rozgrzewającą nutą alkoholu. Piwo bardzo pełne, gęste, oleiste, zaklejające. Wysycenie niskie. Alkohol jak na 11% świetnie ukryty. Bardzo dobre piwo.

Good dark brown appearance, some melanoidines and soft notes of dark malts like sweet cocoa, good spicyness and traces of belgian yeast. Carbonation is low which is great, it is thick with complex palate ideal for long tasting. Not a hint of alcohol which is a great thing for a beer with 11 abv, very pleasant in drinking. Probably best Quadruppel brewed in Poland! I highly reccomend.

Keg at Hoppiness, Warsaw. Cloudy dark mahogany, creamy head. Aroma of brown sugar, chocolate and banana. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Brown sugar, caramel, marzipan, grain and banana. Rich and quite complex, although very sweet. Hidden alcohol in a finish with mild bitterness.

Tap (Kontynuacja, Wroclaw). Barwa ciemno brunatna, rubinowa pod swiatlo. Piana koloru ecru, bardzo drobna, srednio obfita ale za to trwala. Aromat owocowy, slodki z subtelna nuta alkoholu, bardzo przyjemny. W smaku owocowe z mocna slodowa podbudowa, ciut winne o oleistej konsystencji ze swietnie ukrytym alkoholem, ktory tylko delikatnie rozgrzewa od srodka. Slodkawe, tresciwe, czuc cialo ale przy tym ekstrakcie bardzo pijalne. Swietne piwo i jak nie przepadam za mocnymi piwami belgijskimi to to jest genialne.

Bottle. Aroma is very intenstive raisin and prune, alcohol is noticeable but not unpleasant. Sweet, a bit too much for me. Full body. Good, but not exceptional. Previous rating from 15 Jan 2016: Sample in Kontynuacja. Intensive aroma of prune, also raisin, alcohol well hidden. Light sweetness. Full body, smooth. Comparable with Belgian quadruppels.
