German malts give this traditional lager beer it’s beautiful auburn hue and deep rich layers of toasty malt aroma and flavor! We brewed our bock bier back in December to allow for a slow, cool fermentation and plenty of cold storage time so it would be ready to tap for the coming of spring. German Hallertauer and Select hops used in the brew kettle provide a nice, crisp balanced bitterness and spicy flavor without going over the top. This beer is all about the wonderful German specialty malts and lager yeast and we feel we have certainly showcased them prominently here!

Can pour from Andover Classic Wines. Hazy, dark honey/iced tea, with nice head, excellent retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, hint of spice and dark fruit. Taste is strong brown bread, caramel. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Taste bests aroma. Brewed well and to style.

473ml can [at 6.66% abv]. Opalescent, dark ruby colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lasting, off-white to beige head. Dark and caramel malty as well as minimally strawy, pale malty aroma, hints of caramel, a touch of milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly toasty and minimally nutty, dark malty, slightly grassy, bitter hoppy, hints of caramel, a touch of milk chocolate, nougat, hazelnut. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice colour, a tad light and cautious - OK.

Magus, karamelline, linnaseline, mõru, kerge šokolaad, põlenud suhkur, väike alks - väga viisakas bock. Võiks ehk rohkem smooth olla (äkki seistes läheks, idk), aga muidu pole paha.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear mahogany with a monstrous beige head. Aroma is somewhat Tmavy. Med body. Malty, nutty. Maybe some floral hop. It's not very sweet, and it's lightly bitter. Gets nuttier with time - but it's not a specific nut. Good lager.

Been meaning to grab this one for a few weeks now and finally remembered. Cherry mahogany pour and a decent sudsy head. Nose is dark fruits and bready. Tatses of cherry, fig, dates, molasses, toffee, pumpernickel bread, licorice. Smooth yet chewy palate. Some booze
